Young talents from Turkey achieved great success at the Huawei ICT Competition 2023-2024 European Region Awards Ceremony. More than 700 students from 22 countries and more than 100 universities from all over Europe participated in the competition, where Turkish students impressed with their performance in the fields of computing, innovation, cloud computing, and networking.
Erzurum Technical University’s first place in the computing category proved once again how strong Turkish engineering talent is. Likewise, MEF University, which ranked first in the innovation category, made a significant contribution to Turkey’s technological development.
Yalova University’s second place in the cloud computing category and Gebze Technical University’s third place showed the diversity and talent of Turkish youth in the field of IT.
With these tremendous achievements, young people from all over Turkey have qualified for the global finals to be held in Shenzhen, China in May. Moreover, this success shows how ambitious Turkish youth are not only nationally but also internationally.
