Turkish Airlines, which attracted attention with the big increase in ticket prices, also increased the Fear of Flight Program organized by the Aviation Academy for those who experience fear of flying. The program, which had a participation price of 3 thousand 300 liras in 2019, became 30 thousand liras in 2024.
The prices of the 2-day Overcoming Fear of Flight Program organized by the Turkish Airlines (THY) Aviation Academy for those who experience fear of flying have increased up to 30 thousand liras. Students (under the age of 26), retirees and teachers are asked for 21 thousand liras. In 2019, the price of participation in the program was 3,300 liras. During the program, which is held on Saturday and Sunday, expert personnel such as expert psychiatrist-psychologists, trainers, pilots, aircraft maintenance instructors, cabin instructors provide the participants with the support they need.
On the first day of the program, aviation experts such as pilots, technical instructors and cabin trainers provide information to the participants on piloting and technical issues related to aircraft. Participants’ fears of flying are also evaluated by a psychologist. Afterwards, a virtual flight is carried out in a cabin simulator, accompanied by a cabin instructor, psychologist and technical instructor, where all the conditions of a real flight are experienced. At the end of the program, a real round-trip flight is made to a designated domestic destination.

Standard: 30 thousand TL (including VAT)
Student (under 26 years of age), Retired, Teacher: 21 thousand TL (including VAT)
