The President of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku, and Vice President Mark Addo, visited Premier League players Abdul Fatawu Issahaku and Jordan Ayew, who are recovering from injuries.

The President and his deputy met with the national team stars during their visit to the East Midlands, showing their support.

Abdul Fatawu Issahaku suffered a severe knee injury that has ruled him out for the rest of the season. As a result, he will miss Ghana’s FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Meanwhile, Jordan Ayew sustained an injury during a match against Angola in the AFCON tournament. He has recently recovered and is regaining his form.

Although the players have been emotionally affected by missing games, this visit highlighted the value and support they receive from the Ghana Football Association.

Through this gesture, the Association reaffirmed its tangible support for national team players, whether active or recovering.
