TEXACO Team AMS is European champion in the TCR European Endurance Series.
TEXACO Team AMS, Turkey’s representative competing in the TCR European Endurance Series, declared the European championship one race before the season finale. TEXACO Team AMS, which did not leave the summit to anyone at the end of a total of 6 races held in the first three legs of the TCR European Endurance Series, became the “Teams Champion” with the points collected with 3 cars and 6 athletes one race before the season finale. This result is also the first European championship won by a Turkish team in the history of motorsports in our country.
The third round of the worldwide TCR European Endurance Series was held at the famous Misano Marco Simoncelli race track in Italy. TEXACO Team AMS, which completed the first three legs of this international championship as the leader, won the “Best Team” title by winning this stage one race before the season finale and became the European champion.
TEXACO Team AMS, formed by Team AMS’s collaboration with the world-famous motor oil brand TEXACO, announced that it set out with the goal of winning the European championship in its inaugural season. With the result of the Misano race, Barkın Pınar-Zekai Özen duo declared their championship in the Gen1 category and Seda Kaçan-İbrahim Okyay in the DSG category. Turgut Konukoğlu-Eric Brigliadori, fighting for the first place in the General Class with the Gen 2 Audi RS3 Seq, also maintains the championship lead with a significant point difference.
