He stated that especially foxes are natural carriers of rabies and foxes can transmit the rabies virus to other living things. Ergül stated that people can show symptoms of rabies after 280 days, so rabies has a long incubation period. For this, it should not be neglected and it is necessary to go to the health institution as soon as possible.” Giving important information about the rabies case in Hatay, Ergül emphasized the importance of the quarantine measures taken by the health directorate and the provincial directorate of agriculture and forestry. He stated that the spread of the disease can be prevented by implementing quarantine measures and banning the entry and exit of animals.
