In the new period, those who demand payment by IBAN and do not issue receipts and invoices will be able to complain quickly via social media.
In addition, the BİP Tax Complaint Service, X and Instagram Complaint Accounts (via “DM-Direct Message” via “gibihbar”) and WhatsApp Complaint Line (0 552 189 0 189) were put into service.
Which issues can be reported?
According to the Revenue Administration, the issues that can be reported are as follows:
-Application of low VAT rate
Requesting payment via -IBAN/PTT check
-Failure to provide receipts/invoices
-Use of another company’s POS device
-No tax liability record
-Issuance or use of false/misleading documents
-Payment of staff wages by hand
-Failure to declare rental income
-Underpayment of title deed fee
-Sale of contraband products
The official website of the Revenue Administration, Digital Tax Office, Revenue Administration Mobile and Tax Communication Center services have been updated to facilitate and speed up notifications and complaints.
