Shepherd Aydın Battal, who was a mukhtar candidate in his village in Kırşehir in the March 31 Local Administrations Elections, made the agenda with the poem he wrote to his sister-in-law and brother-in-law who did not vote for him after losing the election, was defrauded.
Aydın Battal, who came to the agenda with the poem he wrote after the elections and then acted in the series; said that he was deceived by the people who called him from Kırşehir Governorship and that he lost his animals before the Feast of Sacrifice. Explaining his experiences, Battal said; “I was offered a TV series and I set off. One day later they called me and said that they were calling from Kırşehir Governorship. They said ‘Mr. Governor will sacrifice for a charity organization, we need sheep for sacrifice’. When I heard the name of the governor, I said to the people, ‘I have 10 sheep, I was going to sell them and pay for the cooperative.’ But the lie sounded sweet to me, so I gave 4 sheep. After I bought the sheep, the people who saw the lambs told me, ‘We will also hire you at the Ministry of Agriculture. So I gave 6 lambs and when the name of the governor came up, I gave one as a gift.”
“They played Oscar-winning theater”
Battal contacted a lawyer and filed a complaint against the fraudsters. Battal, who said that his relationship with his wife deteriorated after the fraud, reproached the fraudsters with the poem he wrote. The poem written by Battal is as follows; “Let Azrael knock on your door suddenly, let your life be interrupted. Some people are not satisfied, they do not find themselves in their minds. He divorces his wife, swears and does not keep his word. I took out my mind and put it in your mind. The thief was right, I was surprised. You’ll get out of everything without a game, you’ll never have a day without tomorrow or yesterday. You call it power and worship money and gold. You establish companies and win tenders. He can neither read nor write. What does gold matter if it’s a dog’s collar? Look at the cheeky one, selling dreams, God, don’t give us worse. They played Oscar-winning theater for me, don’t come to me in the afterlife.”
