In the ‘MAHZEN-44’ operations carried out in 3 provinces centered in Edirne, an organized crime organization led by Metin Singer has been cracked down and 15 suspects have been arrested. Likewise, in the ‘MAHZEN-45’ operations carried out in 4 provinces centered in Tekirdağ, an organized crime organization led by Hakan Uslu was broken up and 6 suspects were arrested.
Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya announced that the organized crime syndicate led by Metin Singer has been broken down and 15 suspects have been arrested in Edirne-based operations. He also stated that in Tekirdağ based operations, the organization led by Hakan Uslu was broken down and 6 suspects were captured. Many criminal elements were seized in the operations and the detained suspects will be brought to justice. Minister Yerlikaya emphasized that organized crime organizations will not be tolerated and operations will continue.
Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya continues to take important steps regarding security and public order. In his latest statement, he emphasized that they are waging a decisive fight against organized crime organizations with operations carried out in various regions of Turkey. Yerlikaya stated that with these operations, they are effectively fighting against criminal organizations that disturb the peace of the people.
According to Minister Yerlikaya’s statements, significant successes have been achieved in recent operations. Especially in Edirne and Tekirdağ based operations, it was stated that organized crime organizations were broken down and many suspects were captured.
Yerlikaya emphasized that the fight against organized crime organizations will be strengthened not only by the security forces, but also with the support of the public. In this context, he emphasized the importance of citizens informing the security forces if they encounter any suspicious situation.
