Government spokesman, General Abdoulaye Maiga, condemned Israel’s actions in Palestine and reaffirmed his country’s steadfast support for the Palestinian cause.

Government spokesman, General Abdoulaye Maiga, reiterated his country’s firm support for the Palestinian cause, condemning Israel’s actions in Palestine. He called for the recognition of an independent Palestinian state and an end to violence in the region.

The Malian official also condemned Ukraine’s support for terrorist groups operating in the Sahel region. General Maiga presented evidence of some foreign countries contributing to security issues in the region, accusing Ukraine of providing support to terrorist groups committing crimes against civilians.

Mali also called on the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to back the stance of the Sahel States Confederation against Ukraine at the United Nations. The country expressed its desire to strengthen cooperation among Islamic nations to uphold unity, solidarity, and peace within the Muslim community.
