Many beaches and businesses will open in the megacity in June. Entrance fees to the facilities serving in coastal areas have also been announced. So, how much is the entrance fee to the beaches?

With the arrival of the summer months, air temperatures are on the rise. A temperature increase of 6 to 8 degrees is expected throughout the country. The air temperature in Istanbul will increase for the next 5 days. 30 degrees will be seen on Saturday. Many beach facilities and touristic businesses will open in June. Those who want to swim in the sea in hot weather especially prefer spots such as Şile, Sarıyer, Büyükçekmece, Bakırköy, Adalar and Silivri. Entrance fees for the facilities serving in the coastal areas have also been announced.

In most of the private facilities in Istanbul, where only the use of sunbeds and umbrellas is included in the entrance fee, the prices differ between weekdays and weekends.

How much were the beach fees in Istanbul?

Entrance fees per person in the businesses in Sarıyer vary between 250 lira and 750 lira.

Entrance fees per person in Şile vary between 200 lira and 800 lira, while in Florya they are around 500 lira.

A facility on Sedef Island, adjacent to Büyükada, attracted attention with an entrance fee of 1000 liras per person.

Entrance fees to private facilities have increased compared to last year. The district with the highest price averages was the Islands, which showed an average increase of two times compared to last year.

Buyukada beach entrance fee

Entrance fees in Büyükada this year varied between 500 liras and 600 liras on weekdays and exceeded 800 liras on weekends.

The average fee that a family of 4 people will pay just to swim in the sea in the islands has reached between 2 thousand lira and 3 thousand 200 lira.

Last year, the fees were between 150-400 TL per person on weekdays and 300-400 TL on weekends in Şile, 150-300 TL on weekdays and 150-450 TL on weekends in Büyükada.

How much is the entrance fee to IBB beaches?

Fees have also been determined at the beach facilities of BELTUR, a subsidiary of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, which will open on June 1.

The general fee at Caddebostan and Florya Güneş Beach was 60 lira for these facilities, which will be accessed with a turnstile system with Istanbulkart.

While this fee was announced as 30 liras for students, it was learned that disabled people and their companions, people over the age of 60 and families of martyrs and veterans will be entitled to free use.
