Halil Umut Meler will referee the match between England and Slovakia in the last 16 round of the 2024 European Football Championship (EURO 2024).
According to the statement made by the Turkish Football Federation (TFF), Halil Umut Meler and his team have been assigned to the third match of the championship.
Meler will be assisted by Mustafa Emre Eyisoy and Kerem Ersoy at the AufSchalke Arena in Gelsenkirchen, Germany on Sunday, June 30, starting at 19.00 on Sunday. The fourth referee of the match will be Rade Obrenovic from the Slovenian Football Association.
Marco Fritz from the German Football Association will serve as VAR, Christian Dingert as AVAR, Tomasz Kwiatkowski from the Polish Football Association as VAR supervisor and Jure Praprotnik from the Slovenian Football Association as reserve assistant referee.
Halil Umut Meler also officiated the matches between Belgium and Slovakia and Poland and Austria at EURO 2024.
