Aerial and ground intervention was launched to extinguish the fire that broke out in agricultural land in Bigadiç district of Balıkesir
A fire broke out in the agricultural field in the rural Çaldere neighborhood of the district for an unknown reason.
Upon notification, teams from Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department and Balıkesir Regional Directorate of Forestry were dispatched to the area.
The teams are working with 2 airplanes, 1 helicopter, 10 land vehicles, 5 water supply vehicles, 2 first response vehicles, construction equipment and 60 personnel to bring the fire under control.
