Amed Sportif Faaliyetler, which has been promoted to Trendyol 1st League, has agreed with Ersun Yanal for the technical director position.
Amed Sportif Faaliyetler President Aziz Elaldı, Vice President Barın Durmaz and Football Branch Manager Şefik Özdil shook hands with Ersun Yanal after two days of talks in Izmir. Following the general assembly of Amedspor to be held on Tuesday, 11 June, a one-year contract will be signed with Yanal.
President Elaldı emphasised that the revolution that Yanal laid the foundations of in Denizlispor, Gençlerbirliği, Ankaragücü and Eskişehirspor continued in Fenerbahçe, Trabzonspor and A National Team: “Under the concept of Yanal Team, a football understanding that does not make defence, but makes us do it is dominant. We always appreciate the philosophy of Yanal, who introduced concepts such as analysis, performance, GPS, nutrition and mental support to Turkish football and opened huge doors for young coaches and young people. We are very excited about our journey with Yanal, who has a very special position in our football with his achievements, the trophies he has won, the young stars and coaches he has trained.”
Stating that Amedspor will add excitement to the league in its first year in the 1st League, Yanal said, ‘Football is the common emotion, common enthusiasm and common excitement of all of us. Turkey is a football country and we all need to join hands to reach a better football philosophy. Every minute of the journey we will start with Amedspor is very important and valuable in this respect.”
