After the Nigerian Labor Confederation (NLC) called for a nationwide protest in response to the announcement by the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) that electricity tariffs would increase, a march was organized in Abuja, Nigeria to protest the increase in electricity tariffs. Protesters carried banners against electricity hikes and chanted slogans against the government.
