In Mali, President General Assimi Goïta laid the foundation stone to begin construction of the future headquarters of the Court of Auditors.
The modern facility, to be built on a one-hectare plot of land, will feature a total of 187 offices, 11 archive rooms, two courtrooms with 350 and 40 seating capacities, two negotiation rooms, a library, a restaurant, and a 45-car underground parking lot. The design reflects the principles of transparency and modernity, aiming to provide an ideal working environment for judges and court personnel.
This initiative is seen as a critical step for the Court of Auditors in fulfilling its mission to establish a stronger culture of oversight and accountability in the country.
