Fenerbahçe presidential candidate Aziz Yıldırım made heavy allegations against Acun Ilıcalı, who called him “talking lies”. Yıldırım said that Acun Ilıcalı “issued passports to FETÖ members” in Dominica and added, “If I go into the Adnan Hodja issue, he cannot leave.

The fight between Fenerbahçe Club President Ali Koç and presidential candidate Aziz Yıldırım before the congress of Fenerbahçe, which finished the season in second place in the Super League, continues to grow.

This time, television personality Acun Ilıcalı, who was prominent in the transfer of new manager Mourinho and is on Ali Koç’s management list, joined the ongoing debate with mutual accusations.

According to the news in T24, Aziz Yıldırım targeted Ilıcalı first on journalist Enver Aysever’s YouTube broadcast and then in a meeting with Fenerbahçe Congress members.

Yıldırım used the following statements in his statement:

“Acun Ilıcalı was in Dominica giving passports to FETÖ members! I called him. I said, ‘Don’t do it, it will be bad for you.’ He said, ‘I’m doing it, I’m not doing it.’ But there is something. So he shouldn’t talk too much.

If I go into the Adnan Hodja issue, he won’t be able to go out on the street. On the Adnan Hoca issue, I sat down and read the police report. 3,500 pages. 20 percent of the people accused there said, “Acun introduced us to Adnan Hodja.”

“It is sad to try to defame to be Fenerbahçe president”

Acun Ilıcalı, who participated in the TV 100 broadcast, responded to Yıldırım by calling him “ugly and malicious”.

Stating that Yıldırım was trying to defame him because of his desire to become Fenerbahçe president and that this situation was sad, Ilıcalı said:

“Aziz Yıldırım may want the Fenerbahçe presidency very much. He left the election with a big defeat. It seems sad to me that he is trying to defame him to become Fenerbahçe president.

The accusation is very ugly. If he gets up and tries to get somewhere from 35 years ago, this is called malicious intent. It is a bad thought. I have explained the Adnan Hodja issue before. I met him 35 years ago. It was a conversation I went to. I was 18 years old when I went. It’s been 34 years since I left. It’s funny that in 34 years, a man I haven’t seen, a man I have nothing to do with, he associates me with him because he wants to be Fenerbahçe president.

The fans should know that Aziz Yıldırım left this club with a debt of 600 million euros. Would a person leave a club 600 million euros in debt?

Aziz Yıldırım’s Jose Mourinho affair is a complete lie. They couldn’t meet for three days, they couldn’t make contact! Mourinho changed his phone after meeting with us, they couldn’t reach him. There is no deal. They met in London, Mourinho looked at Ali Koç and the projects. He accepted.”
