In Manisa’s Alaşehir district, 6 puppies came out of a sack thrown into a garbage container. The dogs, which were noticed by students passing by the container, were taken by an animal lover and left to the veterinarian to be checked and cared for.

The incident happened around 19.00 pm the previous day. Manisa Celal Bayar University Alaşehir Vocational High School 2nd year students Ayşegül Oktay and Sudenaz Vural were walking home after school when they heard a noise coming from the garbage container on the roadside.
Sensitive students listened to the sound and looked inside the container. Realizing that the sound came from the open sack and the bag next to it in the garbage, the young people were shocked by what they saw. Seeing that there were 6 puppies in the sack with blood stains on it and the bag next to it, the young people immediately took the animals out of the garbage. Not knowing what to do, the students called Mete Üründü, a school representative and an animal lover, and asked for help. Mete Üründü, who came to the scene with his wife Müşerref Üründü, took the newborn puppies, which still had blood on them, to a private veterinary clinic. While the puppies were treated and taken into care at the clinic, it was learned that they were in good health.
Mete Üründü, who treated the puppies, said, “Our friends were walking on the road when they heard a noise from the container. When they looked in the container, they saw puppies in a sack. They took the puppies out of the sack and called me. I came to the scene with my wife Müşerref Üründü. The puppies were very small and still covered in blood. I immediately took them to a private clinic. They were treated, they are now under control and in very good health. This is a massacre, please let’s not be insensitive. Let’s help these animal friends. If you are unable to take care of them, you can take them to Alaşehir Municipality or call for help. Let’s be sensitive about this issue, whoever does not love animals does not love anyone.”
Ayşegül Oktay, one of the students who found the puppies, said, “I went to the kiosk with my friend. We heard a sound similar to a child’s voice from the garbage container on the roadside, we immediately looked in the garbage. There were puppies moving in the sack. We immediately took the bag and took the puppies out, but the sound was still coming from the container. We looked again, there were 2 more puppies in a bag, we took them out too. We didn’t know what to do. We called our school representative Mete Üründü and asked for help. Thanks to him, he came and took care of the puppies.”
