Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan announced that there will be no increase in the minimum wage.
Minister Işıkhan put an end to the expectations of an increase in the minimum wage by saying that there will be no increase in the minimum wage.
Stating that the minimum wage will be determined for one year in December, Işıkhan said, “The indicators are positive. We will be together to determine the new minimum wage in December.”
Işıkhan said, “Our aim is not to ensure temporary welfare, we have taken such a decision to ensure permanent welfare. We will see the results of this with the decrease in inflation towards the end of the year.”
Işıkhan said that the welfare share for pensioners is not on the agenda, and that the inflation difference will be given.
