Reacting to the fact that the order placed by the woman who came after them was prepared earlier, the girl warned the employee. The woman who took the warning attacked the girl.
The incident occurred last Thursday around 18.30 at a shopping mall in Beyoğlu. According to the information obtained, Nursena A. and her sister Aysima A., who wanted to buy coffee from a chain coffee shop in the evening, started to wait in line. While the sisters were waiting for their orders to be prepared for about 15 minutes, Çağla H. came to order with her boyfriend Abdurrahman G. When Çağla H., who placed the order later, took the order first, the sisters were disturbed by the situation and warned the employee.
She came running and attacked the sisters
Hearing this, Çağla H. shouted at Aysima A. saying “Shut up, it’s my order, what are you interfering”. Aysima A. then told Çağla H. that she was not dealing with her and that she showed her reaction to the barista. When the barista said that she interfered in the queue, Çağla H. took her order and went out with her boyfriend. However, after a while, Çağla H., who went crazy with anger, attacked the sisters she came running to. Grabbing Aysima A.’s headscarf, Çağla H. swore at her, saying “she’s covered…”. Not content with insults, Çağla H. also opened Akbay’s headscarf and continued to attack her, causing chaos. The parties separated after Çağla H.’s boyfriend and employees intervened. While Çağla H. walked away, Aysima A. sat on the couch and cried. Those moments of terror were captured on security cameras.
Police detained the attacker woman
After the incident, a police team was dispatched to the scene upon the sisters’ report. Arriving at the scene in a short time, teams affiliated to Istanbul Security Teams Branch Directorate detained Çağla H., who ran away from the shopping mall. After the woman filed a complaint against the sisters, Çağla H, Aysima A. and Nursena A. were taken to the police station. The parties, whose statements were taken at the police station and who were learned to have filed a complaint against each other, were released from the police station upon the instruction of the prosecutor’s office.
She attacked them by saying “What do you care, shut up”
Aysima A., a student at the Faculty of Medicine who was attacked, said, “I am a student at the Faculty of Medicine. At around 18.30, my sister Nursena Akbay and I went to a coffee shop in the shopping mall and started waiting in line. When it was our turn, we placed our orders and headed to the section where the coffees would come out. We continued to wait here for a while, but during the time we were waiting, she saw that the people who ordered later than us and ordered the same drink got their coffees before us. For this reason, I said to the barista why are you giving the orders after us, the coffees you made were our orders. Then, when the barista said to me in response, “Yes, I’m sorry, I skipped you, I’ll take care of you”, the person named Çağla shouted at me and said, “What are you interfering with, it’s my order, shut up”. ‘ In response, I said ‘I am talking to the barista, I have not even dealt with you’.”
“She opened my headscarf and started hitting me with her fist”
Aysima A. continued her statement as follows: “After my sister, who was with me, said to Çağla, ‘We talked to the barista, we didn’t say anything to you,’ the person named Çağla got angry and walked towards my sister and pushed her and started to hit her. The person named Çağla left after pushing and hitting my sister. As she was about to leave the establishment, she got angry and came back and walked towards me. As she walked towards me, she started calling me ‘You are a closed bitch’, the person continued to walk towards me and opened my headscarf. Then he started hitting various parts of my body with his fist. Afterwards, the people around separated us again and the person named Çağla came out of the establishment shouting how she was beaten.”
“She opened my sister’s headscarf”
Aysima A.’s sister Nursena A. said in her statement, “We informed the employee that although they ordered first, there were people who ordered later. Çağla H. said to Aysima A., who was next to me, ‘Shut up, it’s my order, what do you interfere? When I told the person named Çağla that I was telling the waiter, the person named Çağla pushed me on my left shoulder and said ‘what are you interfering? Then the person named Çağla took their order and left us and suddenly came back and attacked my sister Aysima A. and grabbed her headscarf and said, ‘She is covered. The person named Çağla attacked my sister and tried to hit her and opened her headscarf.”
