Cengiz Topaloğlu, who went to the park in Sultangazi to spend time with his family at the weekend, was first beaten in front of his family by the people he warned not to speak abusive language. Not satisfied with this, the attacker then injured Topaloğlu with a gun.
The incident occurred yesterday evening around 18.30 in Sultangazi Cebeci City Park. According to the information obtained, Cengiz Topaloğlu (52) came to Cebeci City Park to spend time with his family. After a while, Cengiz Topaloğlu, who spent time with his family in the grassy area, warned the people in the area where they were playing ball and asked them to go a little further so that the ball would not hit them. In response, when the people swore at Cengiz Topaloğlu who warned them, a verbal argument broke out between them. Then the people left the scene and returned after a while with their friends. This time they attacked Cengiz Topaloğlu as a crowded group, first beating him and then shooting him in the leg with a gun. After the incident, the attackers ran away from the scene.
Citizens who saw the incident informed the police and health teams. After the first intervention by the paramedics who arrived at the scene, Cengiz Topaloğlu, who was wounded with a gun, was taken to the hospital by ambulance. Cengiz Topaloğlu was discharged after treatment at the hospital.
After the incident, Sultangazi District Security Directorate teams started to work to catch the attackers. Those moments in the park were recorded on a cell phone camera by a citizen. In the footage, it is seen that the attackers attacked Cengiz Topaloğlu and the citizens intervened and tried to intervene.
