The number of people killed in the Israeli army’s attacks on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023 has increased by 66 in the last 24 hours to 36,50.
Israel continues its 234th day of attacks on the Gaza Strip, where it has caused a major humanitarian disaster by forcibly starving and dehydrating the people.
Warplanes bombed the house of the Palestinian “al-Batran” family in Ez-Zarqa neighborhood in Et-Tuffah area of Gaza City. Hani al-Batran, a young girl, her pregnant mother and 3 other people were killed in the attack. Some others were injured.
Simultaneously, Israeli warplanes opened fire on the southern areas of the Gaza Strip, while Israeli artillery shelled Gaza’s Sabra, Ez-Zeytoun and Tal al-Hawa neighborhoods.
The Israeli army shelled Gaza’s al-Burayj refugee camp, killing and injuring several people.
Israeli military boats also opened fire with heavy machine guns at Palestinian fishing boats off the coast of Khan Younis city.
7 Palestinians killed in Israeli warplanes’ attacks on Gaza
Seven Palestinians were killed in morning Israeli airstrikes on Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip and Nusayrat Refugee Camp in the central Gaza Strip.
According to the official Palestinian agency WAFA, Israeli warplanes bombed a house in Rafah city in the Gaza Strip despite the ruling of the International Court of Justice (ICJ). At least 4 Palestinians were killed and some others were injured in the attack.
Israeli warplanes targeted a group of Palestinians on Ez-Zuhur Street in Nusayrat Refugee Camp in the central part of the Gaza Strip.
Health sources reported that 3 people were killed and some others were wounded in the attack.
4 rockets were fired at residential areas around Gaza
In the news broadcast on Israeli state television KAN, “4 rockets were fired from the center of the Gaza Strip towards the Re’im Kibbutz (around the Gaza Strip). The sirens were not activated.”
In the news report, it was stated that 3 of the rockets fell in an open area and the fourth one did not reach the Israeli areas, while no information was given as to why the sirens were not activated.
So far, no one has claimed responsibility for the rockets fired from the Gaza Strip at the Re’im Kibbutz.
Loss of life is increasing day by day
In a statement made by the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, information was given on Israel’s 234-day attacks on the Gaza Strip.
It was stated that 66 more Palestinians lost their lives and 383 Palestinians were injured in 7 attacks organized by the Israeli army in various parts of Gaza in the last 24 hours.
It was noted that the number of deaths in Israel’s attacks on the Gaza Strip since October 7 has risen to 36,50 and the number of wounded to 81,26.
The statement also reiterated that the dead are still under the rubble and on the roadsides, but medical teams and civil defense officials cannot reach the bodies due to the obstruction of Israeli forces.
Israeli soldiers blow up Palestinian vehicles with explosives in the West Bank
The Israeli army blew up some Palestinian-owned vehicles with explosives in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.
According to eyewitnesses, a group of Israeli soldiers raided Palestinian homes in Kafr Dan town near Jenin city.
The soldiers also blew up some vehicles belonging to Palestinians by planting explosives. The sounds of explosions were also heard in neighboring towns.
Armed clashes broke out between Palestinians and Israeli soldiers who reacted to the raid.
In a statement made by the Al-Quds Brigades affiliated to the Islamic Jihad Movement, “Our mujahideen clashed with the occupation forces who raided the town of Kafr Dan and targeted the occupation vehicles with explosives.”
Since October 7, 2023, when Israel launched an attack on the Gaza Strip, there has been an increase in arrests, raids and attacks against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem.
