According to a statement from the General Directorate of Meteorology, strong winds are expected to blow from the north in the evening hours today, affecting the eastern regions of Anatolia, the interior of the Eastern Black Sea, and the eastern parts of Southeastern Anatolia. In higher elevations, the winds may turn into short-term storms.
In these regions, it is important to remain cautious and take precautions against potential disruptions to transportation, roof blow-offs, snow, and the risk of trees or power poles being toppled.
The strong winds and storms are expected to subside by tomorrow afternoon.
